The wood varieties used by My Tuscan Wood are Brazilian: Tatajuba, Ipe, Itauba, Garapa – known for their durability and strength – which requires specific technology to be shaped – and their resistance to natural deterioration, humidity, water and frequent cleanings. They require very little maintenance and their natural hue improves over time.

The functional aspects of the wood are also very important: our wooden solutions are good thermal insulators, keeping warm in the winter and refreshing during the summer. My Tuscan Wood hardwood floors keep their shape and are easily cleaned both with casual and professional methods. We can also offer a fireproof treatment. The Istituto Giordano certifies our finger joint planks.

My Tuscan Wood floors are Made in Tuscany products, between Livorno and Castelfiorentino (Florence); you can choose whether to purchase online or at a local supplier.

Tiles

Amazonian Ipe, Ipe Tabaco: one of the world’s hardest and most durable woods, also known as ironwood.

Brazilian Iroko, Tatajuba: South American wood of a golden brown almost rusty color with a straight grain.

Mato Grosso Ipe, Itauba: It has an oily appearance, with a light pleasant scent and naturally resistant over time.

A high tech finish allows a modern and homogenous finish which heightens a venue’s ambience.

Assembly and care

The tiles for stores and retail venues are easily assembled even by those who are unfamiliar with DIY, as long as you have an even foundation on which to assemble your floor. Our planks require minimal manual labor.

Follow our video tutorials to create the effect and customization you prefer, and if you have any doubts our staff is always available to consult. Our wood does not need upkeep and will remain strong and unaltered for years to come, assuming over time a greying color.
